Wash ‘n Dye

March10

Crisis hits me as well so I need to be creative with my wardrobe. I discovered new Wash & Dye from Dylon, an all-in-one product to dye fabric, no more salt or fix needed, an easy way to freshen up your (faded) clothes to give them a few more seasons. Available in three colours, brown, black and raw denim blue, and I can tell you the results are fab! Make sure to clean the rubber of your washer afterwards, you don’t want funny black spots on your crispy white bedsheets.

Stella Nova Is My Kinda Girl

March9

I feel a bit embarrased I never give blogspace to Stella Nova before. Especially since I’ve been following the Danish brand for quite some time. The brand is based on the imaginary character Stella Nova and her universe. Her four core values are love, unpredictability, eccentricity, and strictness, my kinda girl. Each collection starts with a letter from Stella, and this Spring she had a pirate adventure on the open blue sea.  That explains the blues, greys and stars from this gorgeous Spring collection.

Camper Wedges

March4

Ooooh how I love Camper, they always manage to make the perfect shoe. I saw these Spring wedges today, and although I cannot walk on heels, these fitted perfect, I felt like Cinderella. Unfortunately they’re off budget right now but Honey is going to Barcelona next month, I hope they’re cheaper in their home country. Untell then I’m saving up every euro, because those will be the perfect souvenir.

Savon Figue

March1

Nothing is more gentle for frequent hand-washing than this authentic liquid version of the most famous soap in the world. Rich with olive and palm oils, all-natural and lightly scented, this is the original, beloved liquid soap of France.
Since 1688, French law has declared that only soaps following certain ancient methods, and containing the purest ingredients shall bear the mark “Savon de Marseille.” Marseille Soap is still made the same way with pure olive oils, free of detergents and without animal fats. I bought the fig handsoap today, beautiful bottle, animal friendly and a gorgeous smell!

The Return Of The Clog

February25

Her name was Anita and she was the hottest mum in all of southern Sweden in the 1970’s. While smoking Camel she screamed at her kids until her curlers fell out and just looked fabulous in her white high-heeled clogs.
One summer day in 2006 we found the shoes she wore (300 pairs of red, white and black beautiful clogs from the 70’s) in the basement of an old clog factory in the neighboring village and brought them to Stockholm. So for all these people that shared our love for Anita’s wooden shoes and for ourselves we started Swedish Hasbeens.
