Hope Men SS12

November28

Hope continued that electric blue colour for the men’s collection. According to designer couple Ann Ringstrand and Stefan Söderberg, the Paint It Blue collection symbolises freedom and associates with the Northern Light. This collection has a boho personality, while remaining loyal to a classic, and polished understated elegance that Hope has become known for.

Hope Woman SS12

November27

What better way to make a winter depression more bearable? A forecast of very cool bright Spring fashion. The beautiful blues in Hope’s Paint It Blue Spring collection bring a very different meaning to winterblues. Be patient, only three more months before we can start wearing those bright blue pants, as it might be too early for the jumpskirt.

November18

Inspired by Isabel Marant, we see two winter trends when it comes to knits. One, the aztec print, preferably in the shape of a poncho or big sweater. Second, the tweed jacket, petite or oversized, in black, multicoloured or red. You’ll find both trends in the new TRF collection by Zara.

A French favourite amongst fashionistas worldwide, Isabel Marant. Likeable for her ready to wear, je ne sais qois- clothes, the price tag is still far from likeable. This musthave denim shirt from the Fall collection now has a very likeable copy available at Object, the edgier line by Bestseller. Perfect for styling the double denim way or casually worn under a suit for an edgy accent.

Clearly inspired, top Isabel Marant, bottom Object
