Do you remember the webcam birth blog of elephant baby Kai Mook last May in the Antwerp Zoo? Right now on the Blijdorp Rotterdam Zoo webcam you can see polar mummy Tania busy giving birth to our own little Knut! Oh mummy is looking so cute, like some big white huggy bear, exciting!!
Update: It turns out it’s not completely sure if Tania is expecting, let’s hope they were right and we can welcome an arctic wonder soon!!
I was really shocked to hear H&M is using exotic skin for their products, especially considering the poor quality and cheap price, pardon me. Thrilled to hear though H&M announced to no longer selling products made of exotic skins such as snakes, alligators, crocs and lizzards. Offcourse PETA did some hard work accomplishing that happy news, and therefore rewarded H&M with the Company of the Year Proggy Award. On the PETAwebsite you can see a horror video which made me want to vomit, no damn shoe or bag in the world is worth thissssssss!
Let’s not think of Xmas only as the mass consumption of food and presents. I’m very grateful Honey and I can travel beyond the European boundaries and the more countries I see, the more I care about humans, animals and nature. For six years now 3FM is having their Serious Request and this year’s focus is on malaria. I’m planning a different charity project because of my dismissal but if you haven’t done your charity-duty this year, now is the time. Just go to the website and make a donation for your favourite record. Another serious request; eat some veggie food at least one Xmas-day, all cage-chickens, box calves and pre-fattened turkeys wish you a merry Xmas too.
There are three things I like about winter, waking up and see a winter wonderland through the window, the crisp snowsounds under my boots and the hot coco when I’m home again. Other than that I hate winter and to avoid some new ice age, can somebody please stand up and show some decisiveness and inspiration over there in Copenhagen, that UN Climate Conference is a big Joke! Please mister President (Obama that is, not our only Dutch Hogwarts student) , make IT happen again tomorrow, I want my flipflops not my wintercoat!!
