CPHFW Wackerhaus FW10
My new favourite! Winner of the Max Factor New talent award, Wackerhaus. Designer Trine Wackerhausen has since her debut on to the Danish fashion scene in 2003 become a favorite among a new generation of young, Danish designers. With an understated, feminine look Wackerhaus succeeds in delivering a clean and cohesive look, which on one hand expresses a certain masculinity and on the other a fragile and feminine side of contemporary women’s fashion. Wackerhaus makes women’s collections with a high level of elegance and just the right amount of nonchelance.
CPHFW IVANA Helsinki FW10
IVANAhelsinki is a label known for its Nordic melancholy, and this collection was no exception. As the tones of melancholic underground rock hit the stage and golden chains danced from the ceiling, the show revealed a rough, Nordic love story built upon a copper chain as its central theme. CPHFW Spon Diogo FW10
Altough Copenhagen Fashion Week is behind us a few days now, I still have loads of images from brands that give me true and fresh inspiration. Therefore I give my blogspace to my favourite Danes instead of the big brands on New York Fashion Week which is held now.
Spon Diogo is a fashion label founded by designers Mia Lisa Spon and Rui Andersen Rodrigues Diogo in spring 2008. They have worked as a design team for nearly half a decade with an architectonic and graphic approach with a strong love for the finest in materials and detail work tailoring. Love that grey dress and Princes Leia hair, like the headlines on Dansk Daily, Darth Vader takes on the runway!
