Holiday Deco; By Nord

December14

How about an arctic theme for Xmas? Danish By Nord was inspired by Northern climates which resulted in this beautiful collection. I love, love love the arctic portrait cushions. And what about a deer or wolve tea towel for a touch of nature in the kitchen?

Holiday Deco; Rie Elise Larsen

December10

Famous for her beautiful paper products, Danish Rie Elise Larsen. Today, two weeks before Xmas seems to be the perfect time to start decorating the tree, a few branches or the door handles. If her boho paper tree deco doesn’t inspire you enough to make something yourself, Rie put some nice DIY’s on YouTube. Go green and use recycled paper, foreign stamps, beads from a broken bracelet or something you have found in the forest.

Holiday Deco; Xmas Transformation

December6

Sinterklaas is back to Spain, now it’s time to decorate the house for Christmas. On BoBedre I found these before and after images of a black and white loft at the Stay Hotel Copenhagen which is transformed into a Holiday home. This minimal approach just shows how one colour theme, candles and flowers can transform a space into a Xmas hideaway. Less is definately more, I love it.
