Graumann Interior

October25

Welcome to the home of Danish fashion designer Hanne Graumann. Lots of black and white, design classics and a little touch of boho. I love it, I would swop places immediately! The Egg is on my wishlist for ages, isn’t he beautiful in black leather?

Missoni For Target

September14

Unfortunately only available for US fashionistas, the Missoni collection for Target. For my US readers, don’t complain about the collection being too simple or zigzaggy, at least you can have your affordable Missoni!

CPHFW; Veronica B. Vallenes SS12

August5

Winner of this year’s Max Factor talent award and DANSK designtalent of the year award, Veronica B. Vallenes is a name to remember. This young Norwegian born, Copenhagen based designer showed us next year’s ton sur ton and colour blocking trends in soft shades of grey, purple and mint.

Testino Todo O Nada

July20

If Italy is your Holiday destination and you’re happen to be in the neighbourhood of Rome, I really recommend a visit to the Mario Testino exhibition “Todo o Nada”. The exhibition brings together 54 photographs that reveal the two opposing concepts to be found in Testino’s work, fashion and the nude. These concepts are present both in his better known activities as a fashion photographer, as well as in his more personal creations, including a number of unpublished photographs specially taken for this collection of work. Don’t forget to bring home one (or more!) prints from the souvenir shop, your one and only chance to have a real Testino on your living room wall.

NYC; Roman & Williams

June17

I love, love, love the interiors of both the ACE Hotel and Stumptown Coffee, a little research led me to New York designduo Roman & Williams. A few weeks ago we went to the Dutch, a new pub in SoHo, I loved their industrial retro interior too and yes…also designed by R&W. Not convinced about their talent and style yet? The firm recently completed the renovation and expansion of one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s important Usonian houses.
