Holiday Gift; Fashion Books
Another classic when it comes to Xmas gifts…books. I found three which are perfect for a fashionista/o. One, Colour Me Good, the Kate Moss colouring book. Colouring is recognized by psychologists as serious mindfullness therapy, so why not full your mind in style? The second is the fashion encyclopedia, Mode van A tot Z, drawn by Dutch fashion illustrator Piet Paris. Three; Parisisan Chic, the well kept fashion secrets of French woman, wrote down by Inès de la Fressange. All available online, mindfullness you know
Sinterklaas Piet Paris Style
Dutch fashionistas pay attention, I found the perfect gift for Sinterklaas. If you buy DE tea at C1000 this week (may I recommend Chai), you’ll get the book Sinterklaasje, Bonne Bonne Bonnen for free. Okay, what are we supposed to do with a children’s book when we don’t even have kids? Well, it’s drawn by no other than fashion illustrator Piet Paris himself! I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited about the red saint.
Webshop; Designers United
Apparently webshops are booming, but if you can’t identify yourself with
a woman who is screeming at the mailman while being held hostage in
a bank, I suggest you go to Designers United instead.
Savana has a different approach, the perfect mix between minimal Scandinavian, boho French and young, new designers with brands such
as Sessun, Camilla Norrback and Custommmade. And after you bought
a piece, the DUblog and online magazine gives you inspiration on how to combine your new favourite into a refreshing look. Now that is what
I call door-to-door service!
