Shopaholics Be Warned
“you may be driven by the same disorder that prompts hoarders to fill their homes with junk”
That’s the headline of an article in the Daily Telegraph. According to Melbourne based dr. Randy Frost shopaholics were motivated by pleasure or interest in certain objects. Fair enough, but to say that ” it could be life-threatening in those cases a hoarder’s collection filled their property and became a fire hazard” is a bit overdone. Sure, shopping can be a serious problem, and if your financial situation or your family is suffering from it, you need to seek professional help. Other than that I don’t consider my clothes junk, and my closet life-threatening. Luckily we have Carrie on our side.
