Very happy to find a fresh store in Den Haag, House of Poems. You get inspiration and shopping fever from more affordable brands like Gestuz, Dante6, Soaked in Luxury and Modstrom.

I sold some clothing on Marktplaats so I could afford some shop-craziness at COS today. I’m done for this summer with two gorgeous dropcrotch pants in blue and light grey, similar to this one from Rützou.

No not Paris, closer to home we have our own City Of Lights, Eindhoven. Honey and I found a cool shopping area, the triangle between, Bergstraat, Kleine Berg and Grote Berg. Here are our favourites.

Sonar: My personal favourite with brands like Filippa K, Bruuns Bazaar, Isabel Marant, Drykorn and Humanoid, I want it all!
Mensroom: Mens wear with brands like Denham Jeans, Diesel, JC Rags, Junk De Luxe and Björn Borg.
Magda: For a more “Scandinavian street” look with brands like Acne, Adidas Originals, Mads Norgaard, Wood Wood and Fred Perry, woman only.
Ynformal: A lifestyle mens store like it should be, very stylish, brands like Paul Smith, Hugo, Boss Orange, Drykorn and tailormade suits, a bit too classic for our taste, nevertheless a gorgeous store you normally only find in Rome or Florence.

Tired off all shopping you drink your capuccino and rose not in the Berg area, but close to Central Station. In the former lightning factory of Philips you find Usine, a cool cafe which give me the same feeling as HNY in Rotterdam.

Rotterdam Marathon is held coming Sunday and SHPPR is celebrating. The fashionista who finishes exactly 12 PM at the SHPPR doorstep gets a 42% discount. Second and Third runners win a discount of 20% and 10%. If the SHPPR ladies see any nail scratching or hair pulling, you’re disqualified, but there are comfort prices of 5% discount for every fashion athlete all day.

I love my high Allstars and Nike Dunks, but for Summer I prefer these flatties from H&M. Another recessionista buy for 12 euro 95, for extra comfort I recommend an extra insole.
